It’s YOUR homegirl, Rosemary Lewis…teacher turned top-producing real estate agent. Like best friends do, I’m giving you all the tea related to navigating and thriving in these real estate streets! Everything's better with friends, so let’s succeed together!

HEY REAL ESTATE BESTIES!

Moses was a murderer. He was hiding out in the desert ashamed of what he had done but guess what. God still invited him into a relationship, then through that relationship God used him to accomplish His will in leading the Israelites out of Egypt.

Here is what I wonder though… What if Moses would have been so ashamed of what he had done that he never entered into a relationship with God? What would have happened to the entire nation if Moses decided that his sin was too big and remained in the desert instead of accepting God’s invitation for a relationship?

What about you?

What thing from your past has you stuck in the desert? What has separated you from God?

For me, choices during my teenage and early adult years made me believe that I was unworthy of a relationship with God. Yes, He pursued me but I often felt like I was too broken, too jacked up in my thinking and too sinful to deserve that relationship. So I stayed in the distance.

But Moses was a murderer.  Paul persecuted Christians.  Mary Magdalene was a worldly woman. David an adulterer. Yet God invited them all into a relationship with Him, then used them greatly to accomplish his will.

And he is inviting you too!

Knowing everything about who you are, every mistake you have made, every bad decision you will make, the invitation is still the same….

Matthew 4:19 - Real Estate Bestie Devotional

Come, follow Me.  – Matthew 4:19

That is an invitation to a relationship but it doesn’t end there. Through that relationship He will make you a fisher of men. Meaning that knowing everything about you, He still wants to use YOU to accomplish His will.

That may be helping someone buy a house, praying over the needs of your clients, sharing Jesus with a colleague, ministering through the life you live…

But it all starts with a relationship.

Today I pray that you take that first step towards truly being connected to Your Heavenly Father. Set aside a few minutes each day this week for Him.

🚶🏾‍♀️ Walk with Him (literally, go on a Jesus walk and talk to Him)

 📖 Read his word

🎶 Listen to a worship song

🙏🏾 Pray and ask Him to fill the room

The invitation is here. How will you reply?

Father God, thank you for inviting me into a relationship with you. There are things in my past and even in my present that make me feel like you don’t want someone like me. But over and over again in your word, I see how you invited imperfect people into a relationship with you then used them to accomplish Your will. I pray that today I have the courage to accept your invitation to get to know you better and be in a true relationship with you. Please quiet all of the doubts in my head that tell me I’m too damaged and broken. Thank you for loving me and wanting me just as I am.

In Jesus Name, Amen.
