HEY REAL ESTATE BESTIES!

One day, while hanging out with a group of friends, someone asked, “What’s something about you that the rest of us don’t know?”

As we sat around reminiscing about childhood adventures—like the time one of us was a cheerleader or met someone famous—one friend quietly raised her hand and said, “I can actually sing pretty well.”

We were stunned because none of us had ever heard her sing. And just as quickly as she admitted it, she followed up with, “But you’ll never know it because I don’t sing in front of people.”

Her words immediately made me think of the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30. In the story, a master gives three servants different amounts of money (talents). The first two invest and multiply what they were given, but the third servant—out of fear—buries his talent in the ground. When the master returns, he praises the first two for their faithfulness but rebukes the third servant for doing nothing with what was entrusted to him.

Sadly, that’s exactly what my friend was doing. And it made me wonder—is this what you’re doing too?

Are there gifts that God has given you that you’ve been burying out of fear, doubt, or hesitation?

  • Maybe you’re incredibly organized but don’t think anyone would value your skills.
  • Maybe you have a beautiful singing voice but keep it hidden.
  • Maybe you’re a natural problem solver, an artistic creator, or a gifted teacher, but you’re holding back.
  • Or maybe there’s a talent that could enhance your real estate career, but fear is keeping you from stepping out in faith.

My advice? Don’t bury your talents.

God didn’t give them to you just for you—He gave them to bless the Kingdom. And when we use our gifts for His glory, they multiply.

So here’s the challenge: Who might God be waiting to bless through your talents? Who might be impacted by your gifts—but won’t be, simply because you’ve kept them hidden?

The world needs what God has placed inside of you. Don’t let fear keep you from using what He’s entrusted to you. Step out, trust Him, and watch what happens.
