“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

A few weeks ago, I got one of those dreaded calls that we listing agents know all too well—the buyer backed out. They had my client’s home under contract and suddenly got cold feet. No inspection issue, no financing problem—just nerves.

There really wasn’t anything I could’ve done differently, but that didn’t make it any easier. It’s never fun to call a seller and tell them, “We’re back on the market.” I took a deep breath, regrouped, and made sure I had a solid action plan before picking up the phone. But I’ll be honest—my stomach still had butterflies.

And then she answered. I gave her the news, walked her through the plan, and waited for the disappointment to hit.

But her response? It stopped me in my tracks.
She said, “You know what? Everything’s going to work out. The way God loves me, I know the perfect buyer is still out there. I’m literally not stressed.”

And Bestie, I’ll be real with you—that’s not just the kind of client we hope for, that’s the kind of faith I want to carry.
A faith that doesn’t panic. A faith that doesn’t spiral. A faith that stands firm, even when the deal falls through.

Her confidence reminded me that God really does work all things together for our good—even when the situation isn’t ideal. Even when it’s frustrating. Even when the outcome shifts.

So let this be your reminder today:
Count it all joy.
The good.
The bad.
The disappointments.
The curveballs.

God hasn’t forgotten you. He’s still working. And He doesn’t make mistakes.
