This week, I was talking to one of my sellers whose home has been on the market for quite a few months. We have marketed beautifully, made the necessary price adjustments, and gone above and beyond to get their home sold. But with so many homes available in their area, it still has not happened yet.
Honestly, it could feel discouraging. But my sweet seller made a comment that shifted even my perspective. She said, “We are already operating as if the home is sold because we already know the next buyer is coming.”
Bestie, can I be real? I am the one who is supposed to be encouraging her, yet her words encouraged me. Because in many ways I have talked to people who feel like if their house has not sold in a certain amount of time it is the end of the world. But what she demonstrated is that she is believing in something greater than herself even though the circumstances feel bleak.
She knows that God can shift and change anything, even situations that look completely dead. Just like He did for Lazarus, who had been in the grave for three days, or the boy who had been blind his entire life. All it takes is one move of God to shift everything.
And here is the part that stirred my spirit. We get to participate by believing Him. By believing that all things will work out according to His will.

The Bible reminds us:
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
— Romans 8:28
So today, I want to encourage you, just as my seller encouraged me. Operate as if the promise is already done. Live with expectancy. Believe the best. Because God has the final say and He is more than able to bring life where it feels like there is none.
Your Real Estate Bestie,
