HEY REAL ESTATE BESTIES!

If anyone had a reason to stay busy, it was Jesus.

Crowds followed Him. Needs were constant. Pressure was everywhere. And yet, Scripture shows us that Jesus regularly pulled away to be alone with His Father. Stillness was not a luxury for Him. It was a priority.

In our fast-paced culture, especially in business and leadership, quiet time with God can feel optional or even unproductive. But Jesus modeled something different. He withdrew from the noise so He could stay rooted in intimacy with God. Time alone with the Father fueled everything else.

This matters for you, too.

When life is loud and responsibilities are heavy, it is easy to underestimate the power of stillness. But the hunger you feel for peace, clarity, and fulfillment is not pointing you toward more doing. It is pointing you toward deeper communion with God. He alone satisfies every need.

So start small. This week, carve out intentional one-on-one time with God. Five minutes. Ten minutes. An hour if you can. No agenda. Just presence.

Pulling away is not falling behind. It is following the example of Christ.

Scripture to Meditate On:

“But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” (Luke 5:16)

“Very early in the morning… Jesus went off to a solitary place, where He prayed.” (Mark 1:35)

“He went up on a mountainside by Himself to pray.” (Matthew 14:23)

“Jesus spent the night praying to God.” (Luke 6:12)

Your Next Step

Before you close this, I want to invite you to commit to one small step.

And if you’re willing to be brave, Bestie, because this is a safe space, hit reply and tell me what quiet time will look like for you  this week.

When and where will you intentionally carve out space to sit with your Heavenly Father, and simply be with Him?

Sometimes putting words to it is the first step in honoring it.
