Yesterday, I woke up to a text from one of my friends just checking in.
My besties would call her a God friend.
We had been trying to connect for weeks. Life kept life-ing—between our businesses, family schedules, and all the things. We had plans to walk that morning, but it didn’t happen. So instead, I asked if she had time for a quick chat.
That quick call turned into 45 minutes of real conversation.
Not surface-level stuff. Not “how’s business” talk. But soul talk.
And when I tell you—I hung up from that call feeling lighter, clearer, and so grateful. There were things I needed to say that she needed to hear. And there were things she said that ministered straight to me.
It reminded me how important it is to make space for our people. The ones who know the weight we carry. The ones who speak truth, offer prayer, and show up in love. The ones who sharpen us.

Proverbs 27:17 (ESV) says: “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”
And friend, that’s what happened.
We sharpened each other.
It’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle—especially in real estate or entrepreneurship. But we weren’t created to do life alone. God uses friendships like these to grow us, encourage us, and remind us that we’re not carrying things by ourselves.
So today, I want to gently ask you:
💕 Who’s your God friend?
📞 Who’s been on your heart that you haven’t reached out to?
💬 Who do you need to be sharpened by—or sharpen this week?
Don’t wait for the “perfect” time to connect.
Make the time. Be intentional.
Because that one conversation could be the very thing God wants to use to lift you up—or use you to lift someone else.
Let’s not miss the holy in the hustle.
Your Real Estate Bestie,
