We are imperfect beings, and nothing would please the enemy more than convincing us that our sins separate us from God forever. But that is a lie from the pit of hell.
Yes, we are sinners, yet the Bible reminds us that “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son” (John 3:16), allowing us to have a relationship with Him despite our sinful nature.

Now, this doesn’t mean we should take God’s grace for granted. It’s not a free pass to sin, but it is a reminder that when we fall short—whether by losing our temper with a client, not following the best protocols, or failing to be our best selves—God isn’t distancing Himself from us.
Instead, He’s drawing us closer, inviting us back into His grace and love.
As He redeems you, pray and ask that He will make you more like Him. Ask for a heart sensitive to the sins we commit and a willingness to receive the sweet conviction of the Holy Spirit, so that in every area of life—including the marketplace—you can represent Him well.
When you don’t perfectly reflect God’s light, don’t let that be an excuse to stay distant. God’s love is steadfast, and He wants to use you despite your flaws and mistakes. And remember, nothing in your past or present surprises God. He knows, He redeems, and He loves you.
Never forget that.
So, when someone walks away, trust that God is making space for something greater. Keep going, knowing you are seen, loved, and chosen by Him.
I’d love to know: When you fall short, how do you typically respond—do you turn to God or pull away? Why?
