You know who is going through something?
EVERYONE.
As real estate agents, it’s easy to get caught up in our daily routines, but moments like the one I experienced yesterday remind us of the importance of praying for our clients.
When I reached out to a past client, I found out they were facing serious medical complications. After praying for a new kidney, he finally received it, but his body has been rejecting the new organ. There have been many hard days, some that he feared he wouldn’t make it.
It hit me how our clients aren’t just deals; they’re real people with real struggles. Scripture tells us to care for others just like Jesus did.
Matthew 9:36, it says, “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Jesus was compassionate towards those in need, and we’re called to do the same.
God has placed us in the lives of our clients for a reason, and it’s much bigger than selling a house. It’s to be his hands and feet, to show love and compassion in tangible ways. So, I’m committing to pray for my clients more often, to be there for them beyond just the real estate transaction.
Let’s do this together, bestie. Take a moment to think about someone who comes to mind that you can pray for. Jot their name down and pray. Then, call and check on them. Let’s make this a habit, reaching out and praying for those in need. Together, we can show God’s love and support to those around us.
Pray: Father God thank you for the example of your son Jesus. He was loving, compassionate and sensitive to the needs of others. Please show me how to love like Him. Please give me the heart of Christ so that I am compelled to put the needs of others before my own. Please show me who to intercede for this week and beyond. Use me as a vessel to show your love to everyone around me. In Jesus Name.
Your Real Estate Bestie,
