HEY REAL ESTATE BESTIES!

Texas summers are HOT. For weeks at a time, we are hit with triple-degree temperatures, and it can feel unbearable. On one particularly hot day, I pulled into the parking lot at Target to grab a few items. I drove around for a few minutes, looking for the closest spot so I could quickly dash inside without being overwhelmed by the heat.

When I finally parked, I saw one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever witnessed. A lady knelt down, trying to give water to a bird on the ground that appeared to be exasperated. She had taken a Styrofoam cup, torn it in half, added water, and was urging the bird to come and take a sip.

While everyone around her was only concerned with themselves—trying to avoid the heat and hustling to get inside the air conditioning—she concerned herself with caring for one of God’s creations. This was such a beautiful example of how God cares for us.

In a world that often feels rushed and overwhelming, it can seem like no one notices your struggles. Everyone seems focused on their own journey, and it’s easy to feel left out or alone. But you are not alone. Just like the woman who paused to care for the bird in the middle of that busy parking lot, God is always paying attention to you. He sees your needs, and He loves you deeply.

Isaiah 41:10 - You are not alone - Real Estate bestie Devotional

Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Bestie, no matter how hectic life gets, God is with you in every moment. He’s there, offering His strength when you feel weak, His help when you’re overwhelmed, and His love when you feel unnoticed. Just like that bird found refreshment on a scorching day, God is always refreshing your soul with His presence.

In what ways can you remind yourself of God’s presence when you feel alone or overwhelmed? How can you offer God’s love and care to someone else today?
