HEY REAL ESTATE BESTIES!

The only thing harder than waiting on God is wishing that you had…OUCH. I heard this statement at church last Sunday and it’s been living in my head rent free ever since.

Waiting is hard— especially in real estate. Everywhere you look there seems to be someone closing a deal, getting a new client, being featured in some magazine or sharing wins on social media. All while you are still waiting.

It’s really easy to get impatient with the process (and God) and decide to take matters into your own hands.

Maybe you partnered with the wrong team because you thought it would fast track your way to success?

Or you paid a ridiculous amount of money for leads without a real plan on how to convert them.

Perhaps you decided to just stop trying altogether and to give up on the business because it is taking too long to reach the success that you badly desire.

I get it and I know that waiting feels impossible, but it’s what you do while you wait that makes all of the difference. In the bible, the woman with the issue of blood waited over 12 years for healing. I don’t want to get too graphic, but consider the very worst part of your cycle. Most of us would only last a few days yet she dealt with that for 4,380 days!!!

Talk about waiting! I imagine that each day she had to choose to feel defeated or to have faith in her healing. From scripture, we know that on at least one occasion, she did not sit home and feel sorry and frustrated but she got to Jesus until she was able to touch the hem of his garment.

“Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease” (Mark 5:34).

I know that waiting is hard but when you cling to Jesus and seek him for direction as you wait, you will find your strength. This song ministers to me greatly as I wait. I pray that it will minister to you too!
